With dual lightning bolt precision, 8000 terrorists and support personnel that comprise the Palestinian Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip defeated an opposing force in Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah organization that numbers almost 80,000 personnel strong. How did such a small force systematically defeat a larger opponent on the modern insurgency battlefield?

Intelligence: The Hamas terrorist organization has an intelligence section that has infiltrated every level of Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas’ Palestinian Authority government. Nothing happens in that government without Hamas knowing about it, even forward planning issues. Hamas also closely monitors the security planning of the Abbas government, its garrisons, weapons stores and critical Fatah leadership cells.

Discipline: Hamas blistered its way through the Gaza Strip, defeating every Fatah force concentration and government facility along the way. This type of warfare only occurs with a highly-disciplined and motivated force.

Leadership: The numerically superior Fatah organization’s leadership cell collapsed at the onset of hostilities with Hamas. So even though Fatah outnumbered their enemies in Hamas by almost ten to one, the fact that Hamas has a solid foundation at the small-unit leadership level allowed for an easy victory over the Palestinian Authority government. The leadership of Hamas also directly benefits from the support and will of the “people”, the terrorist organization having made large gains in the recent Palestinian democratic elections.

The next military targets that Hamas will engage will be in the West Bank, Fatah’s last bastion of service and support. The Hamas engagement of Fatah was so decisive in the Gaza Strip, not even the memory of Yasser Arafat, the Egyptian and former leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, was left intact. It was reported that Arafat’s former residence was raided and his belongings ransacked and carried away, a typical revolutionary activity that seeks to erase the memories from the people of a former leader to benefit a new political construct. The Palestinian people voted for Hamas democratically, so what Hamas is doing is attempting to seize full control over so-called “Palestine”, the mythical land devised by 20th Century European, Arab and non-Arab governments since the creation of the State of Israel.

Prior to World War I, Turkey controlled Palestine as well as most of the Middle East for that matter. We are talking about 700 years of absolute control by Turkey over most of the Jewish and Arab (Bedouin) lands in the region. The Jews inhabited Palestine the longest—over 3700 years. An Islamic presence in Palestine did not appear there until much later in history. The Jews have the historic deed to that land because history itself proves it through the period leading up to and beyond the Roman Empire.

World War I changed all that. The victorious allied armies liberated the Middle East from Turkey and then the map was redrawn to create new nation-states such as “Trans-Jordan” so that the Bedouin tribes could have a country to call their own. Political reform in favor of restoring the Jewish lands of Palestine back to the Jews met great resistance, however. The BalFour Declaration created by the British in 1917 defined what the partitioning of the Ottoman Empire should be, and the British were forward-thinking enough to include recognition of the creation of a modern Jewish nation-state in Palestine, the historic homeland of the Jews since all of recorded history.

The creation of a Jewish nation-state was important because European, Arab and non-Arab human tribes have been killing the Jews for sport long before civilized nation-states began to form. There has been no other race of human beings in history that have been preyed upon like the Jews. The BalFour Declaration set the stage for the creation of Israel, but the original plan was to give the Jews a large swath of territory—much larger than the Israeli state has today. In fact, Israel today only has about 20% of the land that they were promised in the BalFour Declaration, and the adjustment in land allocation came from Winston Churchill’s government at the conclusion of the Second World War. It took the international community almost 31 years, and a Holocaust, for its 1917 promise to the Jews to become a reality.

So, the question that is asked by folks who learn of the real origins of “Palestine” usually follows: “How can the international community claim that there is a “Palestinian” people?”

Think of a desert that in history found tribes of humans wandering through it. Without modern industrialized agriculture and modern farming practices, the desert of Palestine was a very difficult place to survive. This is why only the Jews lived there for many centuries before the Islamic populations appeared.

In the 19th and 20th Centuries, philosophs such as Hegel emerged that questioned the utility of religion and man’s authority in this world. Since Christianity is a religion that involved divine prophecy and an omnipotent being, humans could interfere with such prophecy by genociding the Jews. After all, what God could allow the utter destruction of his chosen people if he really existed? That was Hitler’s plan for the Thousand Year Reich. The Thousand Year Reich could not succeed unless all religions were decimated by National Socialism, their deities and prophecies disproved. Once that occurred, the “state” led by vast human bureaucracies would replace omnipotent beings as gods themselves. Humans would become gods over other humans. That was Hitler’s aim, because the National Socialist state required actions by government that were not only immoral but shocking to the very conscience of any human that considered the existence of God and humanity. The efficiency of the “state” would require that all competitors be removed from its stated objectives. The Jews were the lynchpin to the credibility of Christianity—with the Jews removed, Hitler could announce that all of Christianity was “hocus-pocus”, and that morality, the very naked definitions of right and wrong, could be reexamined and the stigmas associated with traditional right and wrong sensibilities in humans could be adjusted. Hitler was creating a nation-state collective where there was no human-defined evil—it was all subjective. Judging evil was to become superstitious and “judgmental”. By murdering all of the Jews, Hitler hoped to remove humankind’s sense of “judgment” over right and wrong. The human that “judges” is the opponent of the “state”, and that human also believes that the rights of all men are endowed to them by a “creator”, not a “human”.

Hitler’s secular humanist goals could not be met if other humans had the power to declare that their individual rights came not from government, but a “creator”. This is why Hitler’s government had to meet the very sharp end of a bayonet, and it did in a spectacular way.

The killing of Jews did not stop with Hitler’s plans, however. When the State of Israel formed in 1948, Middle Eastern countries have waged a proxy war against the Jews ever since. The tribe of humans that is called the “Palestinians” in the Gaza Strip and West Bank were given their own country in Trans-Jordan, but before that could come to fruition, Islamic armies attacked Israel as the Jewish state was forming. Instead of absorbing these populations in Jordan, a small number of Bedouins took root in what is now known as the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and began a campaign of demography.

Demography is a powerful weapon in the international community today. The logic of demography is such that if enough people of one particular human tribe gather together and make a lot of noise, those folks should get their own country, even if they take land away from a bordering country to make their own. This is the logic behind the creation of the new global citizen known as the “Palestinian”. The folks that are called Palestinians by the international community today have never lived in nor formed a country of their own in history. In fact, until the Egyptian Yasser Arafat took on their cause as his own, no one even knew what a Palestinian was. Demography played itself out. In the 1990s alone, 80% of all European Union foreign aid went to the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian issue must be looked at from two very specific positions:

1)     Population Demography: The Palestinian people have reproduced enough to now have populations that have made the international community very nervous. In order to create a “state” however, requires history. Since there never was a Palestinian state in history, revisionist historians simply attached the people to the land itself, and then proclaimed that the Jews were responsible to give these people land to create their own nation-state. To seat this objective, countries such as Jordan where these people did originate passed laws forbidding the owning of private property by the Palestinians. This ensured that the demography problem would continue to be Israel’s problem, since the destruction of the Jewish State and the killing of all Jews has been and continues to be a top priority for Islamic factions globally. Keeping the Palestinian problem in the media and feeding the issue by way of sound bites over at least two human generations has convinced large numbers of people around the world that the Palestinians have a legitimate claim to Jewish lands.

2)     Strategic Genocide: The Palestinian people are used as proxy forces in the secular humanist and Islamic fundamentalist theocratic war to genocide the Jews. To the Islamic intellectuals, the State of Israel must be completely destroyed. According to Islam, the prophet Muhammed made his ascension to heaven at the Temple Mount. This means that Islam must lay claim to all the religious sites in Israel in order to establish the global caliphate. In the west, secular humanist groups and governments find that the killing of Jewish populations is very appealing because of the potential that it could destroy Christianity, a goal that the secular state has pondered since Hegel claimed that religion could only take humanity so far, and humans themselves would have to take civilization the rest of the way. The Palestinian people then serve two very powerful purposes by even more powerful global influences. Each interest has a desire to see the destruction of the State of Israel, and they are unlikely but very real allies in this objective. The war against the Jews has not stopped with complete destruction of the Nazi war machine in World War II. It has continued in an efficient way using the Palestinians, the new global citizen produced by demography.

Hamas and Fatah are products of decades of support by the secular interests and the Islamic interests that wage war against the State of Israel. Soon, a very lethal war could emerge between the State of Israel and its neighbors over this ongoing and unresolved conflict. Palestinian terrorist organizations such as Hamas are building their own military ordnance now, specifically short and medium range anti-personnel rockets that are being deployed indiscriminately against Israeli civilian populations. These weapons are designed to have the same effect as what the Nazis did to their enemies in Europe, especially Britain during World War II with the Nazi’s use of German V-2 rockets on London. Jewish populations in Israel have been exposed to war and conflict since 1948, but previous conflicts have not had the potential to be as explosively violent and dangerous as this new pending war may be.

Hamas is going to go after the West Bank to seize full control over the Palestinian people and their resources. This will accelerate a confrontation with Israel and lead to unrestricted regional war. The United States must safeguard against secular interests that seek to see the destruction of the State of Israel as well since these interests originate in the west. The secular interests will try to force Israel to give land to the Palestinians to form a defacto-terrorist Islamic state.
