The Islamic State of Iraq (ISI), newly aligned with the al
Qai’da terrorist organization in Iraq, provides in this video example
clues as to their ambush tactics. In this video the ISI uses drainage pipes
along the unimproved road as a reference point for their planted IEDs so that
the detonation can be fixed and timed to the approaching Iraqi police vehicle
that is targeted.
This is the same terrorist organization that recently
captured some of my comrades in the 2nd Brigade Combat Team from Fort Drum, NY.
This terrorist group needs to be tracked down relentlessly and brought to
justice. This is the same tactic that was used against the FortDrum
soldiers.
