US Army Hostages

The Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) has just released this new video of captured US Army soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY, that the United States has attempted to rescue in Iraq. While ethical concerns about placing GPS-locating chips in soldiers is under heavy debate in the US, soldier’s ID cards or dog tags could be altered to carry such GPS-locating chips so that when soldiers do get captured and held hostage, US and coalition forces could locate them quickly by this means and descend upon the terrorist strongholds that are holding the captured soldiers prisoner.

Terrorist organizations like the Islamic State of Iraq that are in alliance with al Qai’da will capture US soldiers, film those soldiers, and then either try to barter the soldiers back to the US command for some demand, or kill the soldiers outright for propaganda purposes.

The ISI has taken US soldiers prisoner and is now making videos of those captured soldiers in violation of the Geneva Conventions and the Laws of War.
