Conflict

This is a particularly dangerous time for humanity because we see secular militancy trying to dismantle Christianity in the west, combined with an Islamic fundamentalist militancy attempting to destroy Judeo-Christianity and western secular governments. It is clearly a war and it is a war being fought on many fronts around the world.

When the west dismantled National Socialism in Europe, history proves that it was a very difficult challenge. To the alliance’s benefit, Adolf Hitler commanded National Socialism’s war against Germany’s enemies from the top down. When one man commands a world war, there are obvious and exploitable weaknesses for opponents to take advantage of because one man cannot reasonably accomplish that which thousands of groups can accomplish. With Hitler at the top of the war effort derived by the Axis powers in World War II, the allies were able to exploit Hitler and every human disadvantage that constructed his personality and thinking. The benefit then was that Hitler was a human being and if convinced to do so he could turn the war off. Since Hitler wasn’t convinced, he did not turn the war off and armies had to enter Berlin to turn it off for him. Since Hitler was mortal, his death would equate the turning off of the war as it would have if he had turned it off himself. All that the allied nations had to do was to get to Hitler and have him turn off the war or take him down so the Axis war effort would collapse on its own. Victory over Germany in World War II was very hard-fought by the alliance and allied nation-states were dealing with a foe that was not particularly concerned with organized religion, other than the belief that an omnipotent being unacceptably competed with state power.

The secular totalitarian nation-state system is one where human beings in charge of government do not allow competitions for their power to emerge from the unwashed masses. It was unthinkable for the totalitarian state system to allow members of it to propagate messages within the state party apparatus that suggested that God had selected certain individuals for tasks outside the will of the party, when those in charge of the party itself were not included. That is a competition for state power. Likewise, when the totalitarian nation-state system is being governed by atheists that do not believe in the existence of God, an irreconcilable and dangerous political condition emerges where one group becomes suspicious of the other and conflict is certain to emerge. God was a dangerous concept to Hitler because religion was a human condition that he could not control and threatened his dominance over humankind. All that Hitler could do to counter such threats to his power was to try and force a final religious outcome based upon evidence derived from history and the human experience. If Hitler were able to accomplish that, then he could claim that humans were gods and surrendering to the National Socialist State system was the only natural and metaphysical outcome for all human beings within his sphere of influence. For Hitler to be successful he would have to plan an attack against religion in such a way that every human being loyal to that religion would know that it was not only an attack upon their religion but also upon the will of God himself. Hitler’s line of reasoning was clear—if he could kill all the Jews in Europe and eventually the entire world, then that would prove that God was dead as Hegel and Nietzsche explained was necessary in order to propel human civilization. It wasn’t as if religion didn’t have any utility for humankind—it did—only insofar as it brought humans to the point where the Reich could then take over. Religion to the Reich was necessary to keep human beings disciplined enough to carry them only to the point that human science could then take over and lead humanity the rest of the way. The Reich believed that their regime was the apex for that change in humanity and they also believed that it was their responsibility to not only instruct human beings that God was dead, but to prove it, so that the loyalty of all humans would then fall in line with the Reich and the Thousand Year Plan.

Breaking the religious spell over the people that had been seated within humanity for over two thousand years would be very difficult, however. Something would have to be done that would be so provable to the world that no one could question Hitler’s belief that God was dead and only humans remained to wield omnipotent power even as mere mortals. Something would have to be done and with evidence from Hitler’s book Mein Kampf, Hitler clearly planned early on exactly how he was going to break humanity’s religious spell once and for all. By killing every Jew on the planet, Hitler would claim proof that God did not exist or was dead, and that religions were the antithesis to the modern scientific state and a waste of energy for humans themselves to become engaged with them. Had Hitler succeeded, he would have systematically cleansed the world of all organized religion and the fates of the Jews would have been mirrored upon the Catholic Church, Protestantism, Islam, ad infinitum. It wouldn’t matter what the nature of the religion was—all religions would have been declared counterproductive to the state, as the capitalist is the counterrevolutionary to the communist state.

Secular nation-states begin to become combative with religions when some aspect of the religion is judgmental to the secular interest of creating or expanding programs and rights that might go against perceived instructions from God about human behavior. In matters of faith, there is less flexibility to make changes in society than there is in the realm of science. Even though scientific disciplines can prove or disprove a wide variety of questions relative to the laws of physics, human behaviors do exist outside the provability of science. Science however, attempts to tackle these difficult issues anyway and this is the line in the sand of conflict between science and religion.

Religion then willingly fills in the exploratory gaps and rules of human behavior where science reasonably cannot—the cost being that the human who is delivering messages from God seeks respect and acceptance of their group from government and the people. Religions become politically powerful when citizens of the state agree with the philosophical foundations of the religion and when these citizens also become members of the religious organization. Membership lists are the tools of democracy and political power. In political democracies, the more members that you have, the more political clout that you gather together for your cause. Since politics is nothing more than the struggle over limited resources, groups with membership must form to compete for those resources.

Hitler’s Third Reich was a scientific nation-state that neither had the time nor the patience to waste any energy on religious centers of political power because Germany was radically secular. Hitler wanted to destroy the Jews to prove his own belief in the fallacy of religion and that religious institutions were too costly and counterproductive to be of any use to the Nazi regime. The attacks upon the Jews were meant to create a slow and final decay in religion and to send a steel spike through the heart of the human belief in God because humans not only must believe in the omnipotent being, they must also connect that belief to tangible things that they can interact with together on Earth.

When the allies got together to take care of the National Socialist problem in Europe during World War II, the allies were dealing with a regime command structure in the enemy that had one man at the top calling the shots—Adolf Hitler. Today, the west faces a new form of totalitarianism that has absorbed many of the former Nazi devices of propaganda and warfare against the Jews, but there is no one man leading the new war. The new war is being led by thousands of Imams who propagate their theocratic vision against all outside religions and secular governments to millions of Islamic soldiers through the global Islamic mosque archipelago. Hitler was very dangerous even though he was only one man controlling the war against free nations. The new fundamentalist Islamic totalitarianism is echelons more dangerous than the Nazi regime was ever capable of being.

The new theocratic totalitarianism that the west faces is not being led by any single individual. It is being led and implemented by thousands of powerful Imams who do not answer to any human authority and instead claim authority from their god, Allah. The new totalitarianism then is purposefully exclusionary and intolerant as the former Nazi state was intolerant of anything foreign to it. Since there are no humans involved in fundamentalist Islam that can turn off any conflict that fundamentalist Islam makes with the west and secular states, western nation-states face a highly-motivated and equipped army of radical adherents that believe they have been instructed to conduct revolutionary warfare against the west with direct orders from Allah. The new fascism then is decentralized whereas the fascist state in Nazi Germany held centralized control over its war-fighting capability. With vast and decentralized militant forces attacking western nation-states, no Islamic sovereign state can be held accountable for the actions of those it supports and yet absolves all responsibility for. Modern military ordnance has fallen into the hands of these decentralized militant factions, and yet no sovereign Islamic state is claiming that they are arming those factions or providing other supplies and means of support. The west then is not allowed its deserved interaction with foreign states insofar as diplomacy and other western traditions of conflict resolution usually found in the international community in times of war. The west faces unflagged military forces of hostile nation-states that claim no attachment to anything other than Allah and Sharia Law. It is clear then that the west would prefer to see one leader assume control over the militant factions of revolutionary Islam, as the west preferred one enemy leader in Adolf Hitler in World War II. With one hostile leader, there is opportunity for conflict resolution. With no hostile leader, the west fights an unconventional war against a foreign god that will never desire conflict resolution. There can be no other allowed outcome but victory as commanded by the foreign god over the western “infidels” and the “Great Satan”.

This is the cornerstone to Islamic fundamentalism. The forces that command Islamic fundamentalism seek a Nazi final solution form of fate for the Jews. This must happen because fundamentalist Islam believes that the Prophet Muhammed was the last prophet of God to come to Earth. It is the key to understanding how fundamentalist Islam is going to implement its full control over all religions in the world until it acquires enough power and state efficiency to wipe them all out. Destroying the Jews is a critical military tasking for fundamentalist Islam because that is how they will try to prove to the world that Christianity is subordinate to Islam and why Allah is the only true god, according to them. The destruction of the State of Israel must also occur so that Islam can secure critical religious sites and control access to those sites by other peoples of the world. The Temple Mount for example, is where religious Islamic adherents believe that the Prophet Muhammed made his ascension to heaven and that location is one of the most disputed territories in the world. Islam seeks to control religious sites so that it can prevent Christians and other religious peoples from visiting them and propagating religious material other than Islam. These events are all tied together in an attempted global religious hegemony by Islam over the entire world as Islam tries to rewrite history to make it the dominant religion over all nation-states in the international community.

Decentralized terrorist organizations and other Islamic revolutionary cells operating against the west purposefully detach themselves from Islamic nation-state alignment in order to confuse western governments and their peoples of the real danger that Islamic fundamentalism poses for the west. Since Sharia Law (the Koran) is the only form of law that Islamic fundamentalists are loyal to, western nation-states have no hope in finding a traditional conflict resolution with these groups using western law as the vehicle. The western global order is the target of the enemy so that the global order can be remade under Sharia Law. This remaking of the global order will include correcting all the nuances that may offend Allah—critical foundations of the totalitarian nation-state system and how that state maintains absolute control over the people that it governs. Fundamentalist Islam approaches the remaking of the global order from the position that its god is the only god and all other religions and governments are subordinate to Sharia Law and it is the duty of Islam to cleanse the globe of all infidels to achieve these ends.

Patched together by Islamic states around the world, the absence of any sole leader over Islamic fundamentalism doesn’t mean a sole leader does not exist. A sole leader of Islamic fundamentalism does in fact exist, but the west doesn’t recognize the leader. The sole leader of Islamic fundamentalism is Allah. Since reasonable western nation-states cannot communicate with Allah to seek conflict resolution as western states are disciplined to do, there is no easy way for western states to seek conflict resolution or turn the war off. This is a deliberate measure by totalitarian Islam to prevent its own from seeking conflict resolution with the west. The invisible omnipotent being has been placed in command over Islamic fundamentalism, and the west cannot negotiate with it.

It is important that national security thinkers and other intellectuals in the west understand these critical points because they are the foundation to the enemy that the west faces in the War on Terrorism. One solution to this dilemma is the creation and protection of a new Islamic religious class that begins to disseminate messages from Allah to Islamic fundamentalism that counter the current commands of the invisible omnipotent being. Absent that, the west will be engaged in an endless war against millions upon millions of decentralized radical religious Islamic revolutionaries for all of the 21st Century and beyond.
